On Tuesday 26th March, we had a visit from 17-time TT sidecar winner Dave Molyneux! Dave along with his sidecar passenger Harry came to visit school to show everyone his sidecar and answer our questions. Having grown up in Kirk Michael and been a pupil at our school, it was wonderful to be able to talk to him about his time in school. He even read through our log books and found his name recorded when he competed in the school marathon! The children asked such interesting questions which really led to them developing their understanding of what it is like to compete in the most famous road race in the World. They even had the chance to try the bike out for size. The photographs will be featured in the official TT programme so keep an eye out for them!
