On Friday 26th June, Year 5 and 6 headed up into the hills to explore our locality. They completed a 6-mile hike led by Mr Kirk, from school to the summit of Slieau Freoaghane which is one of the hills you can see from our playground. You can see the village of Kirk Michael behind them in this photo, right by the sea! The children all showed great resilience in warm conditions, getting to the top and ringing the bell. Well done everyone, I'm not surprised you were so proud of yourselves for completing the challenge!
