Earlier this year, actor and resident of Kirk Michael John Rhys-Davies very kindly donated a seed potato for every child at Michael School. They took them home and planted them in tubs, sacks and buckets and cared for them over the next few months. On Tuesday 14th July, many children and parents brought their potato plants into school so we could harvest them together! John came to see their wonderful produce and was very impressed with what they had grown. Each child was so excited to find, count and weight their potatoes! Thank you so much John for your time and generosity. We look forward to seeing how many we can grow next year!
