On Friday 22nd December, we all went to Michael Parish Church for our 'Carols Round the Tree' service. As part of this, Mr Howard Green from the Pahar Trust presented us with many different gifts from our friends in Nepal which he had brought back with him from his latest visit. The villagers in Ghamrang wanted to express their thanks to the school and community of Kirk Michael as a whole for the money they had sent. Following the recent earthquakes, the whole of the upper floor of the school in Ghamrang needed to be rebuilt and the money raised helped to pay for this. The work is now completed and looks wonderful! Thank you so much for our gifts and plaques.
