On Monday 26th March, Miss Honnor took the Reception/ Key Stage 1 choir to the Manx Folk Awards in Douglas. The children took part in different classes with second place success for Ella in the Manx Dancing category and Finlo and William in the Manx Gaelic solo/duet class, and a wonderful win for the choir singing in Manx! All of the children sang with confidence and showed real enjoyment. We have also just heard that Michael School was awarded the 'Folktastic' award for our 'enthusiastic entries in classes across the whole day'. Thank you so much to all of the parents who came to support us, Miss Honner for her leadership of the choir and of course the children! Well done everyone!
