On Friday Daisy Class went to the Dovecote tearooms to get some top tips for running an effective cafe. It was such a wonderful experience and we would love to say a big thank you to the lovely ladies who all made us feel so welcome. When we were there we learnt how to use a till, made observations about the way the tables were decorated and organised, had a delicious slice of chocolate brownie (purely for research purposes, of course!) and had a chance to ask questions we had thought of before the trip. The children all made us very proud with their lovely manners and we now have lots of ideas for our own cafe!
