On Saturday 3rd May, our wonderful choir went to the Manx Music Festival (The Guild) to represent Michael School. They were led by Miss Katie Lawrence who has been teaching our choir again this year as part of our specialist music lessons for KS2. Miss Lawrence also attended Michael School as a child, so it was a wonderful moment for everyone! The children sang so beautifully, impressing the judges with their performances of 'Can You Hear Me?' and 'Here Comes The Sun'. They were crowned winners and awarded the Doris Faragher Trophy for the second year in a row. Well done everyone- you moved the audience and our staff team to tears, what wonderful performers you are.
