Work hard, aim high, have fun!
The Kirk Michael firefighters came to teach Poppy Class all about fire safety. They set us a challenge - can every child learn their home address in case they have to make a 999 call? We are practising this at school - perhaps the children could practise at home too! They would also like the children to learn the phone number of a family member in case they ever get lost. We are all going to listen out for the fire drill siren on Monday nights as this will remind everyone at home to check their smoke alarm.
Thank you again to the crew for teaching us about how to stay safe and giving us such a fun experience.
