We were very privileged to be invited to sing some songs at a special birthday! On Friday 24th October, Ann (a past member of the Michael School family) celebrated her 100th birthday. We sang for Ann, her guests, fellow residents, Sir John Lorimer and Lady Lorimer and also our Chief Minister, Mr Alfred Cannan. It was so lovely to be able to sing our school song, Hello Little People and The Laxey Wheel with everyone joining in. Of course everyone joined in with 'Happy Birthday!' We hope you had a wonderful day Ann, and thank you to Margaret for our party bags to thank us for coming. The pleasure was all ours!
